Being a large-scale comprehensive internationalized regional fair, CNAITF is approved by the State Council of P. R. China. The fair is nothing but an active action which China takes to promote the bilateral economic and trading cooperation between China and the other Northeast Asian countries, with a view to establishing the long-term platform where China and theother Northeast Asian countries enjoy mutual benefits, interchange and communication, and open development.

　　Theme: Opportunity, Interchange, Cooperation, Development

　　Aim: To establish cooperation platforms, create the brand of inviting investment, display the image of the region and promote common development of all the parties concerned.

　　Contents: The fair is open to business circles all over the world and focuses mainly on investment talks, commodity trade, economic cooperation, cultural exchange and high-level forums and conferences. It will be operated in accordance with the market-oriented economy under the guidance and supervision of the government, with a view to highlighting regional characteristics and accelerating the revitalization of Northeast China and Other Old Industrial Bases. It is believed that the fair will offer all the participant opportunities to develop and thrive together through interchange and cooperation.

　　Commodity and trade exhibitions: demonstrating the advantageous and special products of all the provinces in China and Northeast Asian countries, establishing trading platforms between China and Northeast Asian countries and the world.

　　Investment talks: introducing investment environments, publishing the information of inviting outside investments, organizing talks on some special topics such as the reconstruction of the old industrial bases, conglomeration of state-owned enterprises, automobile parts and components, and the deep processing of agricultural products, etc., expanding regional cooperation in investment and making joint efforts to absorb international capital.

　　Special international conferences on regional cooperation between Northeast Asian areas: with the theme of "pursuing regional cooperation and promoting common development", conducting Northeast Asia economic and trading cooperation forums, organizing coordinate and consultative conferences on Tumenjiang Regional Development Project, the 5th East Asia Region Tourist Forum and cooperation conferences between sister cities of Japan and Jilin Province, promoting communication, cooperation and development.
